Michael A. Snyder

Michael Snyder, 44, beloved father, son, brother and grandson, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, in Charlotte, N.C. Michael was born in Missouri, but spent most of his childhood and teenage years in Lakeville, Ind. He graduated from Lakeville High School and attended Indiana University. He lived in Charlotte for the last 12 years. He was the owner of several businesses including The Mapping Company located in Charlotte.

He leaves behind his wife, Gail; two sons, Christopher Snyder (Tia) and Chad Snyder (Emily); two grandchildren, Stone and Haylee Snyder, all living in Charlotte; his father, Charles Snyder Jr. of Liberty, Texas; his mother, Maxine Frederick; and his favorite golfing partner and stepdad, George Frederick of Cassopolis, Mich.; his sister, Sallie Caffee (James) of Acworth, Ga.; a stepsister, Cheryl Kolb (Rob) of Sumter, S.C.; his grandparents, Elizabeth Williams of Goshen, Ind., and Charles and Elnora Snyder of Liberty. Mike was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark A. Snyder and Brian E. Snyder.

Michael loved to laugh and had a wonderful sense of humor; the joy he shared will truly be missed by his friends and family. A private service was held in Charlotte for the family.
