MISHAWAKA - Mabel E. Snyder, 92, of Countryside Place, formerly of Ireland Trail, died at 4 p.m. Thursday in the nursing home. Mrs. Snyder was born Sept. 6, 1901, in Chandler, Okla.

In 1940, in Mishawaka, as Mabel E. Orand, she married Dwight A. Snyder. He died Dec. 17, 1969. She is survived by two stepsons, Dwight A. Jr. of Mishawaka and Donald B. of South Bend; one stepgranddaughter; a sister, Eunice Hall of Cedar Falls, Iowa; and two nieces, Frances Fillio of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Ruby Mason of Portland, Ore.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
