Lynda P. Snyder, 43, passed away of a lengthy illness at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, in the Saint Joseph Care Center. Lynda was born on Jan. 15, 1958, to Earl L. and Janet P. (Esmont) Snyder in South Bend, Ind., and had lived in this area all of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet in 1993, and by a brother, Lynn Allyn Snyder in 1960.

She is survived by a son, Tim I. McClanahan II of South Bend; her father, Earl (Nancy) Snyder, also of South Bend; three brothers, Robert of Fort Wayne, Ind., Terry and Bill (Laurie), both of South Bend; a sister, Valerie (Bob) Banasiewicz of South Bend; a stepbrother, Kenneth Epperson of Kokomo, Ind.; and by two stepsisters, Christine (Scott) Mead of Mishawaka, Ind., and Jennifer (Bill) Burandt of Mishawaka.

Memorial services for Lynda will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, in the ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Road. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until services in the funeral home. Private burial will be at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637; or to the charity of donor's choice.
