LAKEVILLE - Ellis L. Snyder, 93, of Indiana 4, died at 3:30 a.m. Sunday in his home of natural causes. Mr. Snyder retired in 1966 from Koontz-Wagner Electric Co., South Bend, as an electrician after 17 years of service. He was born June 26, 1901, in Rutland, Ind., and lived in Lakeville most of his life.

On April 14, 1923, in South Bend, he married Ellen Elizabeth Cormican. She died June 26, 1989. He is survived by a son, James A. of South Bend; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bernice Dale of South Bend. He was a member of Council Oak Masonic Lodge 745.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Church Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
