Donald B. Snyder, 69, of Palisades, South Bend, Ind., died on Sunday, July 27, in his residence.

Donald was born on June 12, 1928, in Mishawaka, Ind. He was a tool and die maker.

On Sept. 8, 1957, in Mishawaka, Donald B. Snyder married Lillian Connon. Lillian preceded him in death on June 30, 1994. Donald is survived by one brother, Dwight Snyder of Mishawaka; one half brother, Kenneth Krusensterna of Crandon, Wis.; and by a niece, Muriel Barkley of South Bend.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 360, Mishawaka; F & A.M. 294, South Bend; Scottish Rite; Amvets No. 1978; the Disabled American Veterans; Mishawaka Eagles 2083; and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Officiating will be Rev. Ervin Mize. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association.
