SOUTH BEND - Dennis Lee Snyder, 55, passed away on Saturday in his residence. Mr. Snyder is survived by a daughter, Kathrine (Shane) Miller; sons, Jeremy (Kim) Snyder and Robert Snyder; his mother and stepfather, Evelyn M. and Maurice Verstraete, all of Mishawaka; brother, Robert (Louise) Snyder, Jr. of Osceola; and two stepbrothers, Maurice Verstraete of California and David (Carol) Verstraete of South Bend.

Services will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, where friends may visit from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

SOUTH BEND - Dennis Lee Snyder, 55, passed away on Saturday in his residence. Mr. Snyder is survived by a daughter, Kathrine (Shane) Miller; sons, Jeremy (Kim) Snyder and Robert Snyder; his mother and stepfather, Evelyn M. and Maurice Verstraete, all of Mishawaka; a brother, Robert (Louise) Snyder Jr. of Osceola; and two stepbrothers, Maurice Verstraete of California and David (Carol) Verstraete of South Bend.

He was the manager of Murphy's Bar on Mishawaka Avenue in South Bend. His hobbies were building custom motorcycles and he loved riding them with his friends. He was a NASCAR fan and a drag racing fan. He was a friend to everyone, and was always there to help anybody. He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Services will be at 7 p.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, where friends may visit from 3 to 7 p.m. today. Published in the South Bend Tribune on 11/6/2007.
