MISHAWAKA - Ann Snyder, 79, of West Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 3 p.m. on Sunday at St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. She was born on Sept. 2, 1919, in Alliance, Ohio to John and Eleanor Mowry, who preceded her in death.

On May 6, 1944, she married Dale L. Snyder, who died on Oct. 13, 1989. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley J. Snyder on Nov. 16, 1997. She is survived by a son, John R. Snyder of Mishawaka. She is also survived by four grandchildren and a brother, Tom Mowry of California. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the First Christian Church and was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
