Donald G. Snow, 83, of Mishawaka, passed
away on December 6, 2006, in his residence.
Dad was born to the late Charles and Stella (Nuss) Snow,
on May 14, 1923, in Gifford, Indiana. He served in the United
States Army during World War II. He was stationed in the
Philippines for a period of time and was honorably discharged in
1946. He was a lifetime member of VFW post 360 in Mishawaka. Dad
was a millwright at Uniroyal, and worked there for 37 years
before his retirement in 1978. He and our mother, Phyllis Kohler,
wed on April 5, 1942. She preceded him in death. He married Rose Zavor-Rondot
on September 13, 1969, and she also preceded him in death. Dad
enjoyed watching and supervising the crews around
Mishawaka working on the bridges. Dad earned a few of the
workers' hats for his loyalty in seeing the projects completed.
He was the first person to cross Main St. Bridge after the latest
reconstruction was completed. He enjoyed riding his little red
scooter around Mishawaka, but most of all he enjoyed his family.

Snow, Anthony Ayers, and Cheyenne Mosley, all of
Mishawaka. Other survivors include his brother, Glen Snow of
