SOUTH BEND - Gladys (Grant) Snook, 89, of 29th Street, passed away at 11:20 p.m., Tuesday, in Regency Place Nursing Home.
Mrs. Snook was born on June 17, 1907, in South Bend, and had been a lifetime area resident.
She was married to John W. Grant and Harold K. Snook, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Grant Bertles and Mrs. Virginia Grant Leyes, both of South Bend; eight grandchildren, William G. Bertles of Denver, Colo., Barbara Mitalo of Barrington, Ill., Robert C. Bertles of Granger, Ind., Harold Leyes Jr. of Fort Myers, Fla., Deborah Fairfax, Nancy Jo Myrland and Frank A. Leyes, all of Indianapolis, and Douglas J. Leyes of South Bend; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, in the Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services, on Friday, in the funeral home.
Mrs. Snook was a member of the Ladies of Eagles Lodge 435.
