Timothy Wayne ''Bubba'' Smith, 36, of 10335 Bay St., Osceola, Ind., died in the emergency room of Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind., at 11:08 a.m. Monday, July 15, after an apparent heart attack. Mr. Smith was born Oct. 6, 1959 in Plymouth, Ind., and was a life long resident of the area. His parents, Charles C. and Connie M. (Day) Smith, Sr. of South Bend, Ind., both survive.

He was married March 8, 1986 in South Bend, Ind., to Pennie Gill who survives with a son, Brandon Michael Smith, 2 1/2 years old at home; three daughters, Mandy Jo Smith, 17 years old, at home, Jennifer Lynn Weber, 16 years old, at home, and Brittany Nicole Smith, 5 1/2 years old, also at home. Other survivors are two brothers, Charles C. Smith, Jr. of Mishawaka, Ind., and Todd E. Smith of South Bend, Ind.; and a sister, Tabitha M. Wiley of Mishawaka, Ind. Mr. Smith was a self-employed salesman for Tim's Tool City in Mishawaka, Ind.

Visitation for Timothy Wayne ''Bubba'' Smith were held 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola, Ind., with funeral services being held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Odene Wampler of the Michiana Community Church of God, Granger, Ind., officiated at the service. Cremation followed after the funeral services.
