MISHAWAKA — Sylvia R. Smith, 85, of East Third Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after an illness on Friday, Nov. 17, in Hospice House, South Bend, Ind. Mrs. Smith was born on May 17, 1915, in Star City, Ind. On Dec. 31, 1936, in Mishawaka, as the former Sylvia Enyeart, she married George O. Smith, who preceded her in death in 1965. Mrs. Smith was also preceded in death by four sisters. Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter, Mary Lee (Cy) Spreybrock of Mishawaka; two sons, Paul Ray (Sandy) Smith and James O. Smith, both of Mishawaka; two sisters, Alma Reinholt of Buchanan, Mich., and Evelyn Beadle of Glennville, Ga.; and by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was employed by Simon Brothers, and was a self- employed in-home care giver.
