SOUTH BEND - Helen J. Smith, 83, of Rosewood Terrace Nursing Home, Elkhart, formerly of 515 E. Monroe, died Tuesday in the nursing home.

Survivors include three daughters, Dona Vitou of Elkhart, Bonnie Kropff of Grove, Okla., and Rosanna Caper of Sun City, Fla.; a son, Jacob of Sun City; and a sister, Goldie Hostetler Skinner of Walkerton.

Services will be at 6 p.m. Friday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m.
