SOUTH BEND - Sister M. Davidica Slowe, CSC, 84, of Our Lady of Holy Cross Convent, died at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday in her residence. Sister M. Davidica was born Oct. 18, 1910, in Dorchester, Mass., as Mary Catherine Slowe.

She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Jan. 7, 1928; was received as a novice Aug. 15, 1928; and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1930. She was assigned to teaching in primary schools from 1930 to 1968 in Utah, Virginia, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C. She was assigned to clerical duties and as receptionist in 1967 at St. Angela Hall, Rockville, Md.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Church of Loretto, Saint Mary's. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Saint Mary's. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday in the church, where a wake will be at 7 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, Bertrand Hall, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, IN 46556.
