Skodinski

Mary
L. Skodinski, 69, of Carlton Street, Mishawaka, Ind.,
passed away at 2:10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, in Saint Joseph Regional
Medical Center, Mishawaka.
Mary
was born on May 17, 1934, in South Bend, Ind., as
the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Rose (Ferreri)
Stante.
On
Nov. 12, 1955, in South Bend, as the former Mary Stante,
she married Donald Skodinski, who survives. She is also
survived by her daughter, Debby (Paul) Quick of
Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Michael (Nancy) Skodinski of
South Bend; five grandchildren, Jenny, Scott and Kevin
Quick, Stacie and Collin Skodinski; and by a sister,
Adeline (Ted) Goralski of South Bend.
Mary
was a line worker for AmeriSource until her retirement in
1995. She was a lifelong area resident and a member of
St. Bavo Catholic Church. Mary was a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all
who knew and loved her.
Friends
may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Dec. 3, in the
Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka, where a Rosary will be
recited at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in St. Bavo Catholic
Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Polish Roman Catholic Cemetery,
South Bend.
