South Bend – Cecilia Dove Skees, 12-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Skees, 213 N. St. Francis Street, died in the residence this morning at 4:45 o’clock after a six week’s illness of heart trouble.
She was born in South Bend, April 10, 1917, and had spent all her life here. In addition to her parents, a brother, Charles J. Skees, also of this city, survives.
The body may be viewed in the home this evening. Funeral Services will be held in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, at 9 o’clock Thursday with the Rev. William P. Lennart CSC, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
