Anne Siupinski: (South Bend Tribune 12/24/1999)

April 3, 1924 – Dec. 22, 1999 Anne Siupinski, age 75, died on Wednesday, December 22, 1999, at Hospice House of St. Joseph County. She was born on April 3, 1924, in Strakowo, Poland to Alexander and Marie Sknerski. She was married on August 24, 1947, in Poland, to Edward Siupinski, who preceded her in death. She retired in 1988 from the L.S. Ayres Co. Anne is survived by two daughters, Lee Sergeant of South Bend and Renee Dowd of Morristown, New Jersey, a son Peter Siupinski of Mishawaka, a daughter-in-law, Colleen Siupinski, two sons-in-law, John Sergeant and John Dowd, and seven beloved grandchildren, Ann Sergeant of Ft. Wayne, Beth Sergeant of West Lafayette, Jack Sergeant of South Bend, Kate, Claire and Mark Siupinski of Mishawaka, and Teddy Dowd of Morristown, New Jersey. Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sunday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Rd., South Bend. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Bend. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
