The eldest of six children, she couldn't recall a time when she

Alvin Lee Sisco Sr. were married. She was baptized on the first
of February 1955 at Suburban Gardens Church of Christ along with
her husband and daughter. They have lived in New Carlisle since
1951. She was a longtime member of the Westside Church of Christ
in South Bend. Vada was an old-fashioned, full-time-plus
homemaker. After her four children were grown she learned to
drive. For a few years she worked at Haven Hubbard Home as a
seamstress. She cherished her family, church and friends. She
especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Vada was also a
"great" grandmother. She loved preparing for the
holidays, especially Christmas and Easter.
