Janice A. Singleton, 65, of 504 W. Pine Street, North Liberty, Ind., passed away after a sudden illness on Sunday, March 14, in Northeast Medical Center, Gainesville, Ga. Mrs. Singleton was born on June 4, 1933, in Royalton, Ky., to Bruce and Alka (Crace) Howard, and lived in the North Liberty area most of her life.
On Aug. 28, 1953, in North Liberty, she was married to Gerald ''Jerry'' Singleton, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Singleton of Plymouth, Ind.; two sons, Gregory of North Liberty and Colin (Christine) of South Bend, Ind.; grandchildren, Abbi, Sarah, Kyle, Jacob, Dale and Brandon; her mother-in-law, Violet Singleton of North Liberty; her sisters, Walletta Stanley of Walkerton, Ind., Gladys (Eddie) Bennett of Argos, Ind., Dora (Roy) Howard of Koontz Lake, Ind., and Louise (Wesley) Setnor of Walkerton; and by two brothers, George Howard of Koontz Lake and Rodney (Irene) Howard of Walkerton. Janice was preceded in death by her parents; and by two brothers, Don and Charles Howard.
Services will be at 11 a.m. (EST) on Thursday at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
