Hildegarde H. Singler

Hildegarde H. Singler, 94, of Regency Place in South Bend, Ind., formerly of Victoria Street, South Bend, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, in the nursing home.
Hildegarde was born on Dec. 13, 1906, in South Bend, to the late Charles and Mary (Semortier) Singler. She was a homemaker and resided in South Bend her entire life. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rosalie Buckley and Lillian E. Lipetska; and by her brothers, John Josie, Carl, Rudolph and Paul Singler.
She is survived by two sisters, Marie Hutton and Catherine Raab, both of South Bend; and by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, in the Cathedral of St. Matthew, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, Ind.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, April 20, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish Rosary will be at 4 p.m.
