Brother Dominic Silas CSC, who returned to the community house at Notre Dame Tuesday to spend his declining years in retirement, died suddenly Saturday morning. He had come here from New Orleans, La., and was taken ill Thursday

Last rites for Brother Dominic Silas CSC, of Notre Dame, who died Saturday morning, were held at 9 o’clock this morning. Brother Silas, who managed a community farm in New Orleans for the last 45 years, came here Tuesday and become ill Thursday.
