George W. Shuman

July 1, 1879 – January 18 1948

George W. Shuman, aged 68, of 1041 Cleveland Avenue, production engineer for the Oliver Equipment Company, died at 10:40pm Sunday in his residence.  He had been ill a year with a heart ailment.

He was born in Greencastle PA, July 1, 1879, and came here in 1902 from that city.  He married Katherine E. Goetz, here in 1909.  She died in 1942.  He leaves two sons, John H. and George E. Shuman of South Bend; a brother, John F. Shuman, of Hagerstown MD and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Eshelman and Mrs. May Mayhough, of Greencastle and Mrs. Anna Hall of Cumberland MD. 

Friends will be received in the McGann Funeral Home from 7:30pm today.
