Services for Sister M. Josetta CSC, 92, of St. Mary’s Convent, who died there Friday afternoon, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Loretto Church with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call today in the convent parlors, where a wake service will be at 7p.m.

She was born Feb. 29, 1892 in Kilkenny, Ireland. On July 4, 1910, as Elizabeth Mary Shore, she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross at St. Mary’s. She was received as a novice August 4, 1911 and professed her vows on August 15, 1913. She taught at several elementary schools in California, Idaho and Utah. In 1971 she retired and for a short time before coming to St. Mary’s Convent, she resided at St. Catherine’s Convent in Ventura, Calif. Three sisters, who were also Sisters of the Holy Cross preceded her in death.
