Jesse B. Shively, 86, of 23260 Brick Rd., died at 4:30 a.m. today in his residence after a brief illness. Born on April 24, 1876, in Miami County, Ind., he moved here 56 years ago. He was married to Viola Keller, who died in 1945. Surviving are a son, E.K. Shively, of Galien, Mich.; two daughters, Miss Gladys Shively of South Bend and Miss Marian Shively of Birmingham, Mich.; a brother, Lawrence Shively, of Hammond; a sister, Mrs. Ray Oldfather of Galveston, Ind.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. to in the Orvis Funeral Home. Mr. Shively was a farmer and a member of the German-Warren Twp. Farm Bureau.
