South Bend - Dallas A. Shirk, 65, of 1311 Longfellow Ave., who suffered from a heart ailment for many years, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday in his home.
Mr. Shirk had been a salesman with Business Systems Inc, for 29 years.
He came here from Albion, Ind., where he was born on June 5, 1898.
He is survived by his widow, the former Florine Marsh, whom he married on June 28, 1927; two brothers, Charles A. of South Bend and Earl S. of Decatur, Mich., and a sister Mrs. Arthur Stickley of Decatur.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday in the McGann Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with the pastor, Rev. Joseph Murphy CSC officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Mishawaka.
