Henry C. Shank

            Henry C. Shank, 82 years old, one of the pioneers of St. Jopseph county died Tuesday night at 8:53 o’clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs Frank Ulbricht, of Greene township, death resulting from infirmities of old age.

            He was born in Wayne county Indiana and came to this county when a child, residing in this vicinity ever since.  Besides his daughter, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Lushbaugh.

            The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the residence of Mrs. Ulbricht.  Rev E. J. Nitsche, of Mishawaka, officiating.  Burial will be in Bowman cemetery.
