MISHAWAKA - Sister M. Clara Semler, OSF, 81, of Our Lady of Angels, St. Francis Convent, died at 11:40 a.m. Monday in her residence. Sister M. Clara entered the convent on Sept. 1, 1932 and received her Franciscan habit on June 29, 1933. She was born April 15, 1915, in Casper, Wyo. She was assigned as a domestic in school convents in Missouri, Louisiana, Illinois and Indiana, retiring in 1965. She is survived by a brother, William, of Ben Lomond, Calif.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the convent chapel. Burial will be in St. Francis Convent Cemetery. A wake will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the convent chapel. Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
