Vaughn R. Seltzer, 57, of Oakley Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away suddenly at 7:05 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, in Memorial Hospital.

Vaughn was born on Dec. 11, 1946, in Mishawaka, to Donald E. and Marjorie J. (Geldner) Seltzer. Vaughn was employed at Martin's Supermarket on Ironwood.

Vaughn is survived by his wife, Melinda Seltzer of Mishawaka; two sons, Vaughn R. (Tammy) of Mishawaka and Brent L. (Colleen) Seltzer of Rudyard, Mich.; his mother, Marjorie J. Seltzer of Mishawaka; one brother, Gary L. Seltzer of Mishawaka; and seven grandchildren, Joshua, Brittney, Emilee, Stephanie, Vaughnie, Lukas and Andreana.

Vaughn was preceded by his father, Donald Seltzer, and a granddaughter, April Seltzer.

Visitation and funeral services will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 4, with visitation from 2 to 6 p.m., and with the funeral services taking place at 6 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Rev. Ervin Mize will officiate the funeral service.

Vaughn's family and friends will always remember him as an individualist who delighted those around him with his distinctive laugh and his constant smile.
