Wayne K. Selby, 61 years old, residing on Riley Road in Lakeville, passed away at 1:07 A.M. on Friday, October 20, 2000, at the University of Illinois Hospital, Chicago. Mr. Selby was born on October 12, 1939, in Mishawaka, IN, and has been a lifelong area resident.

On October 18, 1959, in South Bend, he married Dorothy A. Viduka, who survives. Along with his wife of 41 years, Dorothy, survivors include five sons, Kenneth Selby of Mishawaka, Thomas Selby of Union Pier, MI, Joel Selby of Lakeville, Hardy Collins of Lakeville and Joshua Collins of Lakeville; five grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Klieber of Lexington Park, MD; and one brother, Gary Selby of Smyra, GA. His parents, and one son, David Collins, preceded him in death.

Mr. Selby was a manager at Biomet Corporation in Warsaw, IN. He served his country with the United States Army, and was a foster parent for 20 years, receiving the Foster Parent of the Year Award in 1989.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 24, 2000, at the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan Street, Lakeville, IN. Pastor Victor Prietto will officiate. Military graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.

Friends may visit with the family from 3- 8 P.M. on Monday, October 23, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Lakeville. Contributions in memory of Wayne K. Selby may be donated to the American Cancer Society, 535 W. Edison Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
