Valentina Sebelski

January 25, 1898 – May 4, 1988

Valentina “Walda” Sebelski, 90, of 54710 Northern Ave., died at 8:45 am today in her home. Mrs. Sebelski was a former employee of Wilson Bros. Shirt Co. 

She was born January 25, 1898, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.  On October 28, 1919, in South Bend, as Valentina Bojarski, she married Leo F. Sebelski.  He died June 27, 1986.  She is survived by three daughters, Lucille VerBerkmoes, Adeline Galvas and Dorothy Moorman, all of South Bend; two sons, Raymond of South Bend and Leo of Kansas City MO; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret Wisniewski of South Bend.

Friends may call from 2 to 8pm Friday in Hickey Funeral Home, Cleveland Road Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road.  Mrs. Sebelski was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St Joseph County Cancer Society.
