SOUTH BEND - Bette Ann Joyce Scully was the spouse of Thomas Francis Scully, and the mother of Mary Beth Scully, Thomas Francis (Deb) Scully, Terrance James (Bev) Scully and Rev. Timothy R. Scully, C.S.C. Subsequently, she was the spouse of Dr. Thomas L. Grisamore. She was the grandmother of Michael, Allison, Megan, Kathleen, Jennifer, Erin and Sarah Scully. Bette passed away on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2010, in her home in St. Joseph, Michigan, surrounded by her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. April 7, 2010, in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Notre Dame, Indiana. A private burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Evanston, IL. Friends may call from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Lady Chapel in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. In lieu of flowers, donations for the Holy Cross missions in Haiti may be made to the Holy Cross Mission Center, Moreau Seminary, Notre Dame, IN 46556. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
