Mary Ann Scott

SOUTH BEND - Mary Anne lost the battle of her life to Breast Cancer, but she has won the war, Mary Anne is joining her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her heavenly home. Mary Anne was born on January 28, 1940 to Eileen Clark and John Wolter, she graduated from St. Joseph High School in South Bend, in 1957. Mary Anne married Jerry Woodham in 1961. Their union produced four children. Jacqueline Woodham (preceded in death), Michael (Brenda) Woodham, of South Bend, Joseph Woodham (preceded in death), and Michele (Keith) VanLue of South Bend. In 1982 Mary Anne married Paul E. Scott of Niles, MI adding two more children to their family, Kim Keck of Niles, MI and Ray (Nicki) Scott of Niles, MI. Along with her children Mary Anne is survived by her Grandchildren; Jessica (Michael) McCollum, Ashley Woodham both of Hagerstown, MA, Tracy Gray Keck Jr. of Niles, MI, Randi Woodham of South Bend, Zane and Paige Scott of Niles, MI, and Alyssa VanLue of South Bend. As well as a host of dear friends and relations. Mary Anne was Co-owner of Scott's Photography for 30 years. She was a member of Alanon for 34 years. She was a member, Deaconess and Stephen Minister of Calvary Baptist Church in South Bend, for 25 years. Mary Anne was a member of WBOM (Woman's Business Owners of Michiana) for 10 years. She served with DeColores Ministry for six years. Mary Anne was an avid Mystery Reader and talented crafter; she was famous for being able to do more than two things at once. Always a person to serve others, she was very humbled by the outpouring of support that she received. She was a Wonderful Wife, Devoted Mother, an Awesome Grandmother and a Super Friend; she will be truly missed by all. Mary Anne would want all who knew her to remember to live life "One Day at a Time".

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 20th in Calvary Baptist Church 3001 W. Cleveland Rd. South Bend. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until services. In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask that you make a donation in Mary Anne's name to following organizations; Alanon, and The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care of South Bend.
