Doye Scott, 88, formerly of East Sorin Street, passed away on Saturday morning, Oct. 24. On July 9, 1928, she married Oliver James Scott, Jr., who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lorimer Tidwell, John Tidwell, and Julius Exie Tidwell; and by three sisters, Caroline Carnegie, Hattie Tally and Mabel Ellis. Mrs. Scott is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Ann (George) Grayson; and by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Following a one hour visitation, funeral ceremonies for Doye will be conducted at Noon at the Cobb Funeral Home, 3525 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. E. Olaine Storey
