Clarence G. Scott, 75, aka "Scotty." Scotty resided in Saint Joseph Care Center West, where he died of natural causes.

His survivors include, Janet Powers of Mishawaka, Ellen Shore of South Bend; four grandchildren, Becky Woolet of Mishawaka, Tracy Schultz, Emily Shore and Scotty Shore, all of South Bend; four great-grandchildren, Becca, William, Jocelyn, all of Mishawka and Breanna Schultz of South Bend. He was a PFC in the Army infantry from Sept. 1944 to Dec. 1952. In 1951, as a Cpl., he received a Purple Heart Medal and a Bronze Service Star.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, in Community Congregational Church, 19671 Cleveland Road. There will be no visitation. Welsheimer Funeral home is handling arrangements.
