Vera Zoe Schurtz
Vera Zoe Schurtz, sister of Daniel D. Schurtz, of this city, died Sunday
afternoon at 5:50 o'clock at her home in Tucson, Ariz. Miss Schurtz had been
superintendent of schools of Pima county for four years, her term having
expired last January. Besides her brother in this city, she is survived by
her mother, Mrs. Augusta W. Schurtz, of Tucson, and another brother, Dr.
Arthur W. Schurtz, of Ann Arbor, Mich. Funeral services will be held Tuesday
in Tucson, after which the body will be sent to White pigeon, Mich., for
burial.
