Joyce Robert Schultz

MISHAWAKA -Joyce Robert Schultz, 91, residing in
Mishawaka, IN, passed away peacefully at 6:35 p.m. Friday, July
11, 2008, in Southfield Village surrounded by his family. He was
born May 10, 1917, in LaPorte, IN, to William and Cloie (Bolenbaugh)
Schultz, and had lived in northern Indiana all of his life,
including LaPorte, Plymouth and Mishawaka.
On September 20, 1958, he was united in
marriage to Velma Victoria Noon. She passed away on May
31, 2008. Mr. Schultz is survived by his son, Kerry L. Schultz of
Mishawaka, and two grandchildren, Victoria Schultz and Jeremy
Schultz. Mr. Schultz retired from O'Brien Paint Company in South
Bend where he was employed for more than 30 years. He proudly
served his country in the United States Army during WWII, and was
a longtime member of Albright United Methodist Church, Mishawaka.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July
15, in Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South
Bend, with Warren Kirkwood of Albright United Methodist Church
officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial
Park, Granger, IN. The family will receive friends one hour prior
to services Tuesday in the funeral home. Contributions in memory
of Mr. Schultz may be made to Albright United Methodist Church
Fire Fund, 504 West Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46545.
