Robert J. Schrader, 53, of South Scott Street, passed away unexpectedly April 4, 2001, in his residence. He was born May 30, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky.

He is survived by two sons, Nick (Nancy) Schrader and Brian (Tammy) Schrader, both of South Bend; and a brother, David Schrader of Hudson, Florida.

Private services will be on Saturday in the funeral home with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Notre Dame. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Robert's memory at the Fire Fighters Federal Credit Union, 1122 S. Main Street, South Bend, IN 46601. St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Rd., is handling arrangements.
