Sister Mary Syra Schorr CSC, 60, of St. Mary’s Convent, died in St. Joseph Hospital, South Bend after a short illness, Sunday afternoon. She was born Odelia Emma Schorr on Feb. 17, 1913 in Fort Wayne and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on June 23, 1928. She was received as a novice Jan. 6, 1929 and made her vows on Aug. 15, 1931.

Friends may call in St. Mary’s Convent parlor after 3 p.m. today. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Loretto Chapel, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
