MISHAWAKA - Marian L. Schoof, 83, of Valley View Healthcare Center, Elkhart, formerly of Mishawaka, died at 12:15 a.m. today in the nursing home.

Mrs. Schoof was born April 9, 1910, in Marion, Ind., and lived in Mishawaka most of her life, coming from Marion. On July 3, 1948, in Ringgold, Ga., as Marian L. Miller, she married Lloyd Schoof. He died June 25, 1976. She is survived by five daughters, Barbara Jo Evans of Warner Robins, Ga., Joy R. Anderson of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Sue Carol Hendrickson of Belmont, Texas, Mary Lee Walter of Osceola, and Mona Bush of Mishawaka; a son, Thomas H. Shalley of Elkhart; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
