Sister Mary Adelaide CSC, died in Saint Mary’s Convent Thursday night after a prolonged illness. She was born as Maria Theresa Schmidt in Germany in 1890. She came to the United States to enter the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1923; received her habit in January 1924; and made her final vows in 1929.

Friends may call in the Novitiate parlors until the funeral mass at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the convent chapel. Burial will be in St. Mary’s community cemetery.
