SOUTH BEND - Memorial Services for Pauline J. Scherman, 98, of Rosemary Lane, who died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Cremation will take place, with burial in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or

any charity.

Mrs. Scherman was born Aug. 12, 1896, in South Bend. On April 16, 1917, in South Bend, as Pauline Mischker, she married Walter F. Scherman. He died May 2, 1951. Surviving is a daughter, Maxine E. Scherman of South Bend. She was a member of the church.
