Brother Paul Scherman CSC, 49, of the Brothers of Holy Cross died Sunday in Gates Mills, Ohio, of an apparent heart attack. He received his habit on Feb. 1, 1949, professed his first vows on Feb. 2, 1950 and his final vows on Aug. 16, 1953. he was graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B. A. degree in 1951. He was a veteran of World War II.

Rev. Charles Scherman SJ, of St. Louis was the celebrant at graveside services for his brother, Brother Paul Scherman CSC at Holy Cross Junior College Cemetery. Brother Schermaan is also survived by another brother, Emmanuel of Milwaukee.
