     Funeral services for Rev. Joseph M. Scherer, C. S. C., pastor of St. Mary's Roman Catholic church, who died Thursday night, were held this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church.  Rev. Father Oswald, of Notre Dame university, officiating.  Burial was in the community cemetery at Notre Dame university.
