Elizabeth Scheibelhut

Mishawaka - A resident of Mishawaka 48 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Scheibelhut, aged 90, died at 7:30 a.m. today in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. George Gramenz, 224 West Grove street, with whom she lived. She had been in ill health for several years. Mrs. Scheibelhut was born March 4, 1858 in Monterey, Ind.

As Miss Elizabeth Kratz she married Joseph Scheibelhut 67 years ago in Winamac, Ind. He died in 1917. Surviving other than Mrs. Gramenz, are two sons, George Scheibelhut, of Rossville, Ga., and Charles Scheibelhut, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Seiner, of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Scheibelhut was a member of St. Monica's Rosary society. Friends may call at the Thallemer Funeral home after 7 p.m. today and until the funeral services which will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Monica's Catholic church. Rev. Anthony Badina, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.
