Michael Lynn Schalliol

Services will be Friday for Michael L. Schalliol, 15-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin G. Schalliol, 52655 Mark Street, who drowned Tuesday afternoon in Barron Lake, near Niles. He was a ninth grade student at Clay Middle School. Born June 9, 1959 in South Bend, he had been a lifetime resident. Surviving are his parents; a maternal grandfather, Elwood Ernsberger of South Bend; two brothers, Ronald and David, both at home, and two step-sisters, Debbie Stricker of Wakarusa and Kelly Acker of Goshen.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home where services will be at 1 p.m. Friday. Max B. Hayden, pastor of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
