SOUTH BEND — Joseph Thomas Scarantino, 70, of Newport, Ark., formerly of South Bend, died Friday in Newport. Survivors include his wife, Nora ; two daughters, Nora Nowak of Niles and Rebecca Kirk of Edgewater, Fla.; a sister, Joann Kinsley of Trenton, N.J.; and two brothers, John of Trenton and Carl of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Jesus is Lord Family Worship Center, Jacksonport, Ark. There will be no visitation. Dillinger Funeral Home, Newport, is handling arrangements.
