Grace L. Saxton (Sep. 9, 1918 – Aug. 24, 2010).

Services for Grace Lucille Saxton, 91, of Belton will be private. Mrs. Saxton died Tuesday, Aug. 24, in a local nursing home.

She was born Sept. 9, 1918, to Franklin and Mina Gray Bocock in Villa Grove, Ill. She was a 1936 graduate of Northside High School in Fort Wayne, Ind. On June 12, 1936, she married Francis H. Saxton in Fort Wayne. She retired in 1972 from South Bend Drafting and Supply Company in Mishawaka, Ind. She was a member of Prime Time Bowling League in Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Steven F. Saxton and Timothy A. Saxton.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula L. Cundiff Saxton of Belton; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Park Place Manor in Belton or to VistaCare Hospice, 2626-B S. 37th St., Temple, TX 76504.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
