SOUTH BEND – Mrs. Alice Satkowski, 50, of 1407 N. Iowa, died Wednesday in St. Joseph Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born on Feb. 17, 1928 in South Bend where she lived all her life. She was employed bt Brentwood Pharmacy for eight years.

On Sept. 15, 1951, she married Stanley Satkowski. He survives with a daughter, Gail M. Pinkerton of Valpariso; a son Terry J. of Santa Barbara, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Helen McGowan of South Bend Mrs. Virginia Williams of Galien, Mich., and two brothers, Marion and Edward Szymanski, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph A. Jacobs, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9:30 today and 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Society.
