SOUTH BEND - Peggy A. Sanderson, 62, of 1251 Colfax Avenue, died at 8:42 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness.
Mrs. Sanderson retired from Bendix Corp. after 30 years of service. She was born April 4, 1931, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by a sister, Edna Meglesel of South Bend; three nieces, Eugenia Noble and Lois Daniel, both of South Bend, and Rosa Banko of LaPorte; and two nephews, Art Sanderson and Richard Wiseman, both of South Bend. She was a member of National Humane Society.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.
Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
