SOUTH BEND - Sylvia Samulski, 81, of Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of South Scott Street, died at 7:40 a.m. Sunday in the nursing home. Mrs. Samulski was born Jan. 28, 1913, in Dowagiac and was a lifelong area resident.

On April 24, 1939, in South Bend, as Sylvia Adamowski, she married Roman H. Samulski. He died Sept. 25, 1974. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Private services took place. Entombment was in St. Joseph Cemetery. Zahoran Funeral Home handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rum Village Wildlife Society.
