SOUTH BEND - Geraldine A. Sampson, 84, of 316 S. St. Joseph St., died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mrs. Sampson was a former employee of Memorial Hospital in housekeeping and Northern Indiana Children's Hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1909, in Farmer City, Ill., and lived in South Bend for 61 years, coming from New Albany, Ind.

On Nov. 10, 1966, in Russellville, Ark., she married Edwin W. Sampson. He died Sept. 25, 1969. She is survived by a son, James Rouck of Richmond, Calif.; and a sister, Helen Shupp of Dardanelle, Ark.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will take place. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
